WHALES LISTENERS / 2019
The Arctic Circle Residency Progam, Svalbard
Production: Whale listening circles at the whalers' sites were organized and filmed with participants from the residence. The participants travel on a large sailing ship in the Arctic. The work focused on the intertwining of the social histories of whales and whalers.

Initiated as part of the Songlines event, this project documents where whale bones are kept and the motives of those who keep them at home.
