TO LIE ON A BELUGA
+ WATERCURRENT
Research in sound art / 2021

Various sound experiments involving living creatures combine sounds recorded underwater in the Arctic, those of beluga whales, for a tactile audio experience in the heart of a water bed. The bed has been modified so that you can feel the sound vibrations of a cargo ship as ifyou were pressed against the skin of a whale. A circle of speakers sculpts the sound of water in a workshop space where two little geese named Polie and Funny experience their first sonic encounter with water.
