FEU DE FORÊT (Forest Fire)
Live art, dramatic musical performance / 2021-2023
Sharing a passion for cetaceans, Safia Nolin (music) and Maryse Goudreau (multidisciplinary arts) have created a DIY ode to life. Taking the form of a series of musical tableaux, Feu de forêt draws on the naive aesthetics of sixth-grade performances and parish hall parties to re-sacralize nature. Accompanied by Mica Guitard and collaborators who change depending on the villages visited, Safia and Maryse invite us to a DIY apocalypse with Feu de forêt.
