This proposed work deals with the relationship betweenhumans and beluga whales and evokes media fabrication. Captionstaken from newspaper headlines are superimposed on photographic archivesof varying degrees of accuracy in order to highlightsituations in which the animal is found dead, observed, or even diverted from itsusual trajectory or habitat.
